Case Study: LN-CC Store Relaunch 3.0

The LN-CC store launch marks a significant milestone in the evolution of one of London’s multi-brand concept stores. Our Creative Director, Ben Benoliel, played a crucial role in this transformation Having co-founded LN-CC back in 2010, Ben's involvement as in its revival underscores his enduring commitment to innovative retail experiences.

store 3.0

In 2010, LN-CC was born out of a shared vision between a group of passionate creatives, including our Creative Director, Ben Benoliel. From its inception, the store was a disruptor in the fashion industry, combining high-end products with raw, innovative materials to create a space that quickly became iconic. Fast forward to 2024, LN-CC has reopened its doors in Dalston after a major redesign. The project, which began in September 2021, saw Ben rejoin LN-CC as 'Head of Studio + Staff'. Ben was involved in every detail of the store's 3.0 concept, from the initial design and contractor appointments to the final touches. His involvement was a full-circle moment, coming nearly 14 years after he first helped to launch LN-CC.

The newly reopened store has been entirely redesigned, yet it still holds the DNA of the original space. Working closely with renowned designer Gary Card and his team, including Richard Wilkins from HQI, the redesign maintained the spirit of LN-CC while embracing new technologies and materials. The launch of the store was more than just a reopening; it was a revival of a cultural hub that had been closed since 2020 due to the pandemic.

The store launch was officially documented by ForwardSpace, our interior photography branch, capturing the essence of the new space. The images have since been featured in major publications like Vogue, GQ, and Dazed, further solidifying LN-CC's place as a leader in the fashion world.

Launch Party and Press

The official launch party marked the grand reopening of LN-CC, bringing the store back to life in a way that echoed its original spirit. Our full team traveled to London to attend, celebrating the rebirth of a space that has long been more than just a store—it's a cultural landmark.

The press coverage of the event was extensive, with publications like The Standard asking, "Is Dalston’s newly reopened LN-CC the coolest shop in London?" This widespread attention underscored the significance of LN-CC's return to the forefront of London's retail scene.

Since the reopening, LN-CC has continued to host multiple launches and events, each building on the momentum of the 3.0 store launch. The store has reestablished itself as a destination not just for shopping but for cultural and fashion events that attract crowds from across London and beyond. With each event, ForwardSpace has been there to capture the essence of these moments, providing stunning visuals that have been featured in top-tier publications.

The journey of LN-CC, from its inception to its revival, is a testament to the power of innovation, passion, and resilience. As LN-CC continues to grow and evolve, it remains a beacon of creativity in the ever-changing landscape of fashion and culture. The store’s new chapter is just beginning, and we at ForwardSpace are proud to be a part of its ongoing story.
